The Lynn Historical Society believes that the rhyme "Lynn, Lynn The City of Sin" originated as early as the first war in the Barbary Coast area which had twenty or more saloons. These saloons have long since disappeared, though the Lynn rhyme keeps on being repeated to this day much to the chagrin of Lynners and Lynners at heart wherever they may be. The song..."The City of Win" is a final rousing response to that rancid rhyme. It was written by Lynner at heart Joe Pickering Jr. songwriter and Danny Mack international recording artist and CMAA award winner and Hall of Famer. This song and recording is especially dedicated to Mrs. Dorothy Pickering and Mother of Joe Pickering.
