Baseball Songs Sports Heroes 2 is the third CD Album of the team of Joe Pickering Jr. songwriter and Phil Coley music arranger, producer, musician, and singer. The first and second CD’s Baseball Songs Sports Heroes 1 and Sports Songs and Beyond were accepted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame Sound Library. Baseball Songs Sports Heroes 2 surpasses the other two in the number, variety and breath of the baseball or baseball related songs (16) and 3 other sports songs plus 3 bonus songs. Even before this CD was released noted authors, filmmakers, owners of popular website sports blogs, companies and others have made testimonials re: this CD and/or individual songs. The CD Baseball Songs Sports Heroes 3 has a great variety of baseball or baseball related songs (14) and 4 bonus songs. It features songs about the Boston Red Sox, Chicago Cubs, New York Yankees, New York Mets and Tampa Bay Rays. There are songs about the beloved Gil Hodges of the Brooklyn Dodgers, Ebbets Field, a New York Mets fan, Red Sox Hall of Famer Frank Malzone, as well as the never to be forgotten trio of Bob Elliot, Tommy Holmes, and Sibby Sisti of the Old Boston Braves. There is even a song about Chief Wahoo, which should be banned from baseball for its bigoted depiction of Native Americans. The most zany sports figure in history was also one of the greatest major league pitchers of all time. Rube Waddell comes alive once more but in song! There are even four bonus songs on this CD including one of my great home town of Lynn, Massachusetts which remains in my heart as well as a song of salvation and two great Christmas songs.

The World economy is in shambles. Just about everybody is being effected but only Wall Street is getting a big bailout? Nearly all of us might be wondering why? I thought I would write a song about this baleful bailout!
The song Wall Street Christmas is a major departure from my 3 sports songs CD's which have been accepted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame Sound Collection. Wall Street Christmas focuses on what's happening right here and now in America to you, me and tens of millions of Americans and many more millions around the world. The song recounts one American Average Joe giving a message to Santa Congress clamoring to know why Main St is treated so differently than Wall Street. Why is this all currently happening in our country,the economy and to all of us living on Main Street. Why all of this corporate welfare and bailout? Phil Coley the arranger and singer performs this song wonderfully!
This Average Joe in this song demands to be treated just like the big boys on Wall Street and wants Santa Congress to stop taking money from their Santa which is Wall Street. The first line is: I want a Wall Street Christmas Main Street Noel won't do! The last lines are: Congress take the pledge no more wall street money 'till the national debt's paid and America's future sunny!

| FROM AN ORPHAN TO A KING: Way back in 1952, I sat in Fraser Field in Lynn, Mass and watched the greatest pitcher I ever saw. He pitched from second base blind folded and struck out the batter. He also threw pitches behind his back and through his legs and still struck batters out. Plus, he was only playing with three other players against a 9 man team. He is one of the greatest barnstormers of all time and millions of fans have been privileged to see him. From an Orphan to a King is my song tribute to this man.
